Commissioned for pilot boarding and port approach operations along the West African coast, this 15-metre full-aluminum vessel is built to handle the demanding sea conditions of the Atlantic seaboard while maintaining the manoeuvrability required for close-quarters harbour work. The 5083-series aluminum hull delivers a favourable strength-to-weight ratio with a shallow operational draft of 0.50 metres, enabling reliable service across a range of port depths and tidal conditions. Twin Cummins QSL9 main engines, each rated at 450 hp at 2,100 rpm, drive the vessel through fixed-pitch propellers to a top speed of 25 knots, ensuring fast turnaround between ship-to-shore transfers. With 2,600 litres of fuel capacity and a climate-controlled interior fitted with a low-maintenance split air conditioning system, the vessel is engineered for sustained daily deployment in tropical conditions. The layout comfortably accommodates 8 pax and 2 crew, with the embarkation deck and pilot boarding arrangements optimised for safe transfer operations in Atlantic swell.
