# Loyd Shipyard

> Loyd Shipyard is a Turkish shipbuilder based in Tuzla, Istanbul, founded in 1981, specializing in the design and construction of custom workboats, patrol boats, pilot boats, tugboats, and offshore support vessels in steel, aluminium, and HDPE. The company has delivered vessels to operators in 25+ countries across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region.

Loyd Shipyard offers both custom-build and in-stock vessels, and operates under a strategic alliance with Besiktas Workboats and its sub-brand Arya Shipyard (aryashipyard.com), which produces tailor-made HDPE and aluminium service boats. Loyd Shipyard vessels are built in compliance with IACS member class rules (Bureau Veritas, Lloyd's Register, and others).
